Skill development training programme begins

Bishnupur, November 19 2021:
Two days Skill Development Training Programme on 'Use of Microbial Inoculants in Vegetable Crops' began today at KVK Bishnupur Training Hall, Utlou.
The training programme was jointly organised by ICAR- National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (NBAIM), Mau, UP and Krish Vigyan Kendra Bishnupur under the Tribal Sub-Plan of Government of India.
It was attended by Th Chaoba Singh, former Union Minister and chairman KVK Bishnupur; N Sarat Singh, pradhan Utlou GP; W Deben Singh, pradhan Ishok GP; and Dr Kh Brajamani Meetei, Sr Scientist & head KVK Bishnupur as presidium members.
P Bijaya Devi, Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Horticulture, KVK Bishnupur; SMS Plant Protection, Kh Maipak Singh; SMS Agronomy, Dr Sakhen Sorokhaibam and SMS Agri Extn, Dr A Tarajit Singh also took part in the programme as resource persons.
During the programme, various agricultural items including Knapsack sprayers, banana planting materials, broccoli seeds, vermicompost, etc were distributed to 150 beneficiaries.
Later, an interactive session was also conducted.
