Imphal, July 18 2014 : One housewife was found hung to death at Moirang Laishangbam Leikai, Bishnu-pur district under Moirang police station at around 10 last night, informed a source.

Naorem (N) Mairembam (O) Sanaleima (32) alias Jonah w/o Suresh of Moi-rang Laishangbam Leikai was found hanging from tree been (Yongchak) within their residential plot.

Even though post mortem has been conducted at RIMS today, the corpse has not been claimed yet.

Meanwhile, people of Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba today held a meeting in connection with the death of Sanaleima.

Incidentally, Sanaleima's parental home is at Thangmeiband Khomdram Selungba Leikai.

Speaking at the meeting, Sanaleima's father Nageshor said that the death of her daughter was suspicious.

He maintained that they were not informed by their in-laws about the death of their daughter.
