All set for HSLC exam

Imphal, February 17 2025:
All preparations are complete for the High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2025 which is set to commence from February 19, said BOSEM Chairman Akham Joykumar.
Speaking to media persons at BOSEM office in Babupara today, he informed that a total of 37,052 students, including 18,460 male and 18,592 female students will be appearing in the HSLC Exam 2025 .
Out of the 37,052 students, 8,468 are from Government schools, 1,210 from aided schools and 27,374 from private schools.
Students from 949 schools will sit for the exam, which can be further broken down into 306 Government schools, 60 aided schools and 583 private schools.
The exam will be conducted across 155 centres.
Nodal Officers have been appointed for the 62 exam centres across Ukhrul, Churachandpur, Senapati, Tamenglong, Chandel, Kamjong, Kangpokpi, Noney and Tengnoupal, he added.
The BOSEM Chairman also sought the help and cooperation of the public to ensure that the exam is conducted smoothly.
Additionally, Special Observer Teams from the Examination Committee of BOSEM will keep a close watch on exam centres where officials suspect disruptions, including question paper leakage, are likely to occur.
He made a widespread appeal against imposition of bandhs or blockades or causing any disruption during the HSLC exam, which will conclude on March 7 .
In case of complaints regarding question leak, he urged people to inform the relevant authority of BOSEM and appealed against the spread of unverified claims before the truth is ascertained.
Extending best wishes to the students, he advised them to remain calm and avoid resorting to unfair means during the HSLC Examination 2025 .
