Imphal, February 16 2022: Thangmeiband AC MLA and JD (U) candidate Kh Joykisan has stated that the party will form the Government after the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.

Kh Joykisan made the remark while attending the flag hoisting ceremony of JD (U) candidate in Thongju AC Preshyojit Sanglakpam today and added that the upcoming election in Thongju AC is going to be fought with newcomer Preshyojit Sanglakpam on one side and two other candidates, one each from Congress and BJP.

He also questioned the sitting MLA of Thongju AC Th Biswajit who is also the Works Minister regarding the works he has taken up in the AC.

Speaking at the event, Preshyojit Sanglakpam said he decided to contest the election after taking advice from the people of the AC.

He added that the upcoming election is a fight between two teams, BJP and Congress on one side and himself on one side.

He also alleged that the other team is engaged in using money and muscle power to woo voters but he asserted confidence that the people of Thongju AC cannot be bought or intimidated by money and muscle power.
