Social worker urges people to choose true leader

Imphal, December 12 2016: Social worker Wahidur Rahaman said that Keirao AC has only one gazetted officer and few college teachers which shows the immediate need to upgrade educational institutions and its facilities.

There is only one Government school which is Kyamgei High Madrasa.

As such, there is an acute need to upgrade primary and secondary schools in the area.

Keirao is also located near Irilbung river bed but the locality is yet to get supply of potable water.

He said that the area has a potential to produce large quantities of agricultural products provided proper infrastructure is set up.

However, due to lack of implementation of water supply schemes in the area, people can hardly produce essential food products throughout the year.

He urged the youth to choose a true leader in the upcoming election.

Wahidur Rahaman said that a true leader will bring growth and development in the area while money power wil bring more misery upon the people.
