Imphal, April 12 2013 : The Ministry of Grievance and Pensions, Department of Personal, Government of India has sought the vigilance clearance report from the State Government in connection with promotion of three IAS officers of 1995 batch to the post of Joint Secretary or any other equivalent post, at the earliest.

The three IAS officers whose vigilance clearance reports have been sought are Ashutosh Zindal, Thaithuilung Panmei and T Sitlou.

In another development, an amount of Rs 33,57,338 for procuring ammunition for arms for used in Manipur Police Department has been approved by an order of the Principal Secretary Home, Dr J Suresh Babu.

Consequently, the amount too has also been sanctioned.
