Churachandpur BJP begins mobilization

The BJP Churachandpur district unit has begun a massive mobilization exercise by visiting different mandals and convening meetings every weekend at its district office.
The party's district president J Haokip, according to the party's publicity secretary LRS Puruolte, held a meeting with party workers from various units at the party Churachandpur AC's office located at Rengkai Road and sought to know the problems faced by the people.
He is understood to have solicited written complaints with evidences from the members, if they have any, on the functioning of the Government, which are to be submitted at their office on Thursday between 9 am and 2 pm.
These complaints, he said will be taken before the Prime Minister for redressal.
As part of the party's past weekend discussion, the district leaders are pitching for the establishment of at least one Central University and Sports Academy in Churachandpur, said the party in a statement.
Better electricity for the district, improvement of NHs, proper utilisation of Central funds and exploiting the potential of Khuga Dam, better water supply in the district, rectification of improper voter lists and polling stations and improvement of law and order in the district are the other issues the party has decided to work on, it added.
