Patriots' Exhibition kick-starts in Thoubal

Imphal, August 10, 2012: To coincide with the Patriots' Day that falls on August 13, a state level Patriots Exhibition, 2012 was opened at Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School playground, Thoubal by DC of Thoubal, K Radhakumar, IAS.

The exhibition was organised by department of Commerce and Industries, Government of Manipur.

Among others, the inaugural function was attended by General Manager of DIC, Thoubal, Md Sabir Ahamed; Principal of Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School, Ng Amuchou; OC of Weavers' Service Centre, Porompat, Government of Inda, K Ravindra Singh; and Project Manager (HL) of District Office of Handloom and Textile, Thoubal, Md Quayamuddin as the president and guests of honour respectively.

A total of 83 handicraft stalls were opened at the exhibition by participants from various districts including Churachandpur, Ukhrul, Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal.
