Tree plantation drive concludes

Thoubal, February 10 2025: A two-day tree plantation drive which began yesterday at Waithou Ching Emoinu Complex organised by the Chengei Ching Emoinu Thougal Lup, Waithou was concluded today.

The tree plantation drive was held on the theme "Plant a Tree and Get Oxygen for Free" .

At the closing day of the tree plantation drive, Arvind Hanglem, IAS, SDO Lilong, Dr Mayengbam Veto Sigh, MCS, Joint Secy (Home/Tourism), Govt of Manipur, Manipur Film and Shumang Leela actor, Thoudam Oken Mangang, Ikop Ningthou Thougal Lup Thoudam, president, Thoudam Kuladhaja, vice-president, Thokchom Shanjit Singh, Smart Security Service, Tera, secretary Laimujam Pratap Singh and many others planted various tree saplings as part of the event.
