Kuki National Liberation Front/Kuki People's Army (KNLF/KPA) affirmed not to compromise Kuki nationalism with Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement and affirmed to take every available means to defeat the 'divide and rule' policy of the Indian Government.
This was conveyed by the chairman of the newly formed KNLF/KPA, Palen Kuki on the occasion of the 4th Rising Day of the outfit held at its tactical headquarters, Munpi in Chandel district on March 6 .
According to a statement issued by the information and publicity secretary of the outfit, Konthe Haokip, Palen Kuki was reported to have said that the KNLF/KPA was formed on March 6, 2008 with the objective to regain and re-unite the Kuki society and its territory from the Indian colonialism.

"The SoO agreement signed among the 18 Kuki UG groups, the Centre and the State Government was another strategy to suppress the true revolutionary movement of the Kuki to create disunity among the people of Manipur.
Therefore the KNLF and its arm wing, KPA will not accept compromising the Kuki nationalism under SoO table and through this strategy the Indian Government is polluting the revolutionary spirit of the Kukis," it stated.
It is also committed to fight the alleged divisive policy of the Government, which according to the statement is the root cause of the communalism and corruption in Manipur.
Stating that the unity and integrity of the hill and valley people of Manipur is very essential in resisting the Indian colonialist policy, the KNLF also appealed the people to lend necessary support for the cause of revolution.
The outfit is also ready to work together with any like minded revolutionary groups waging war of independence.
