Many back KSO's 24 hrs general strike

Kangpokpi, June 06 2019: The 24 hours Statewide bandh called by KSO-GHQs from today midnight till midnight of June 7 demanding unconditional release of 10 KSO Gunpi Block executives received huge support from various sister organizations, district and block KSO.

Zomi Student's Federation (ZSF)-GHQs has express its support to KSO stating that it is deeply concerned with the continued detention of KSO Gunpi block executives in connection with the arson of St Joseph School, Sugnu.

It also reiterated the claim of the KSO Gunpi block that the executive members are made "scapegoats".

Mizo Zillai Pawl (MZP), Hqtrs, Gangte Student's Organization (GSO)-GHQs, Hmar Students Association, Churachandpur Joint Headquarters, KSO CCpur, Sadar Hills, Tpl, Cdl and block KSO including Saikul, Moltam, Singngat, Twilang, Islands, etc also endorsed the bandh.

All vehicular movement, business establishment, Govt offices, and educational institutions will remain close during the bandh said KSO-GHQs source.

Only emergency cases on medical ground excluding check-ups, etc, doctors on duty, powers, fire service and media will be relaxed from the purview of the bandh, said KSO.
