KRA rolls red carpet for ATDUSH delegates

Leaders of Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA), a SoO signatory under the banner of KNO today warmly welcomed home the delegates of All Tribal Disable Union, Sadar Hills, who represented Sadar Hills at the recently concluded inaugural State Level Sports Meet for Persons With Disability at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
The ATDUSH delegates won two gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the Meet.
While speaking at the reception function organised here this morning, a KRA leader expressed heartfelt satisfaction and conveyed gratitude for the delegates bringing fame and laurel for Sadar Hills.
"You signify the true spirit of human being with strong determination and show the world you are no less than others in this competitive world", noted the KRA leader.
While lauding their great achievement in the highest form the outfit leader encourage the ATDUSH to keep the good work burning.
Lien Gangte, secretary to MLA Nemcha Kipgen while lauding the ATDUSH delegates assured them to highlight their grievances and hardships to the Kangpokpi AC representative and urged them to keep up the good and encouraging spirit always keeping in mind God created everyone for his own purposes.

"Disability does not matter in achieving fame and laurel if one have the determination to achieve it", noted KTC secretary Haokholun Chongloi while adding that ATDUSH delegates showed the true meaning and liveliness of persons with disability in the society.
Kanggui Town Churches Fellowship Chairman Rev.Tongjam Haokip appreciating the good work of the ATDUSH delegates encouraged them to live in positive frame of mind.
Thangmonlal Hangshing and Santosh Gupta won one gold medal each in arm wrestling in 28-36 category and 100 metre race in senior category respectively for ATDUSH while Mangboi Chongloi won two bronze medals in chess and arm wrestling in 64-68 category.
ATDUSH also won the silver medal in volleyball at the two-day Sports Meet.
Expressing discontentment against the Organizing Committee and All India Radio news reporter, Santosh Gupta alleged that they intentionally addressed 'me' as a representative of Senapati district even though "I represented Sadar Hills" .
"I represent and belong to Sadar Hills not other District", the gold medallist affirmed.
A grand reception feast was also organized for the ATDUSH delegates at Gou's Cottage Kangpokpi.
Apart from the KRA leaders, members of KTC, KWWO, KYU, KTCF and other civil bodies also attended the reception programme.
