Inspire Science at Manipur University

The ongoing INSPIRE science at Manipur University camp being held under the sponsorship of the Department of Science and technology, Govt.of India has entered 3rd day today.
On the third day today, Dr Debananda S Ningthoujam spoke on development of microbiology as a descipline through scientific biography, Dr L Anand on the world of pathogens, Dr S Jibonkumar on crime and fingerprinting, Prof H Nandakumar on different topics of physics, Prof Tapan Ganguly of Kolkata on photochemistry and fate of the molecules in their excited state.
Besides Dr RK.Bhubon on chemistry and our life and N Surchandra on telescope spoke on the occassion.
Practical classes were held in the evening and a visit to the Heavy Fuel Power station at Leimakhong was also arranged.
Interaction and star watch programmes followed the evening session.
The camp which kicked start from June 1 is an innovative programme designed in order to attract the young minds towards the study and Research in basic Science.
