Imphal, November 02 2013 : A woman was found hung to death at Chingamakha Maisnam Leikai, Tomal Leirak, Imphal West district under Singjamei police station triggering an uproar in the locality.

According to information culled from the spot, 32 year old Moirangthem (N) RK (O) Janeshori w/o Sanatomba was found hung to death inside a room of their house at Chi-ngamakha Maisnam Leikai, Tomal Leirak at around 3.15 pm yesterday.

Janeshori was found hanging by her husband and she was immediately rushed to RIMS but succumbed to the injuries caused by hanging.

The deceased left behind a two year old daughter.

Although Janeshori's parental home is at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai, she grew up at her maternal grandmother's home at Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi.

Raising suspicion about involvement of the in-law's hand in the death of Janeshori, families and relatives of Janeshori came to Chingamakha from Keishampat and Wangkhei this morning.
