Every student must have sense of nationalism , says titular king

Titular King, Leishemba Sanajaoba has stated that Manipur is facing many issues due to lack of nationalism among her people.
Addressing the gathering as chief guest on the 18th foundation day of Slopeland Public School Khongjom held today at Khongjom Salt Village, Thoubal district, the titular king further stated that every student must have a nationalism mindset and become responsible citizens so that issues which are hampering the development of the State could be resolved.
High ranking officials and politicians of the State should also have a sense of nationalism and work for the benefits of the common people, he continued.
While expressing disappointment over the deteriorating moral values of today youngsters, the titular king urged all to contribute their shares in making Manipur a self-reliant and peaceful State.
At the celebration, the school's staff presented gifts to the founding members of the Slopeland Public School and parents of students from Myanmar while many students showcased cultural items.
Slopeland Public School founder-president N Thambou; founder-chairman Nahakpam Babulin and Mutua Museum Imphal Director, Mutua Bahadur also attended the programme.
