Imphal, March 31 2016: Argument hearing regarding the death of Sapam Robinhood in police action during a pro- ILPS agitation on July 8 last year was held before Justice Mutum Binoykumar Commis- sion for the second day today.

During his two and half hours long submission, vic- tim's Counsel pleaded the Commission to direct the po- lice station concerned to file a First Information Report (FIR) regarding Robinhood's death.

He said that the police sta- tion concerned has turned down the victim family's re- peated request regarding the matter.

He also said that authority concerned has not taken up any step regarding victim family's request of handing over the case to CBI as well.

The Counsel also pleaded the Commission to direct the State Government to provide adequate compensation to the victim's family.

After his marathon sub- mission, victim's Counsel closed arguments from his side.

The Commission will hear the arguments of police Counsel on April 2 .

After the completion of submission of police Coun- sel, the Commission will later hear the arguments of Com- mission's Counsel.

It may be mentioned that (Retired) Justice Mutum Binoykumar Commission was constituted on August 1 last year and the first sitting of the Commission was held on October 5 .
