Imphal, October 29 2015: Medical Superintendent of Raj Medicity, RK Kumarjit and Managing Director of Public hospital, Ziauddin today deposed before Justice (Retired) Mutum Binoykumar Inquiry Commission constituted to probe the death of Sapam Robinhood in police action during a pro-ILPS agitation on July 8 .

The seventh sitting of the commission was held at the conference hall of State Guest House conference hall today.

It may be mentioned that after Robinhood was hit by a teargas shell on his face during the agitation near Minuthong, he was initially rushed to Public hospital.

As his condition deteriorated, he was referred to Raj Medicity.

However, he succumbed to his injury at the private hospital in the evening of July 8 .

The commission will continue its sittings till October 31 at the same venue.

The first sitting of the inquiry commission was held on October 5 and till today, 12 witness have given their statements.

Seven witnesses who have submitted their affidavits to the commission in favour of the State police will also depose before the commission in the days to come.

The inquiry commission was constituted on August 1 .
