United Front Manipur (UFM) condoled the demise of its women wing leader Chabungbam (ongbi) Khoibam Shila Devi, resident of Laipham Khunou Maning Leikai yesterday.
UFM said in a condolence message that K Shila Devi was a social and political activists who dedicated her life for the upliftmrnt of right of women in the state and her dead is a huge lost for the society.
Office bearers and members of UFM prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and shared the grief of the bereaved family.
Democratic Bharatiya Samaj Party, Manipur State Committee also condoled the demise of its National Vice President Incharge, K Shila yesterday.
Ema Janaki condoled
All Manipur Women's Social Reformation and Development Samaj condoled the sudden demise of its advisor Ema Janaki Leima on May 23.Ema Janaki was amongst the pioneer in initiation of Meira Paibi movement and campaign against drug abuse in the state, said a condolence message released by All Manipur Women's Social Reformation and Development Samaj.
Her contribution for the welfare of the women society and in the for establishment of a drug free society will never be forgotten, added the message.
Dr Vareso Ningshen condoled
Members of Teachers' Forum of MLS Law College expressed deep sorrow on the sudden and untimely demise of Dr Vareso Ningshen, Associate Professor and its co-convenor.
A condolence meeting was held in virtual mode owing to the restrictions imposed by the Government in view of the second wave of the pandemic and a two minute silence was ovserved to pay homage to the departed soul, said a condolence message released by Teacher's Forum LMS Law College.
The message added Dr Vareso Ningshen will always be remembered for his sincere dedication, priceless contributions, calm and noble attitude.
The forum also shared the grief of the bereaved family.
AMCTA condoles Longjam Rameshwar Singh
All Manipur College Teachers' Association (AMCTA) condoled the sudden and untimely demise of Longjam Rameshwar Singh, Assistant Professor, Manipuri Department, Oriental College today.
A virtual condolence meeting was held at 6:30 PM today and a two minute silence was observed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
AMCTA also shared the sorrow and grief of the bereaved family.
