Awareness programme on Jana Neta Irabot wraps up at Jiri

Jiribam, September 25 2019: The awareness programme on "Jana Neta Irabot" organized by Jana Neta Irabot Memorial Trust (JIMET), Jiribam since September 23 in connection with the observance of "Irabot Month" with Lifetime President Dr Chandam Kamal Singh conducting the programme as resource person in different schools of Jiribam concluded today.

On the last day of the programme, awareness programme have been conducted at Jirighat High School, Kamargha; Sorok Atingbi High School, Sorok Atingbi and New Life Academy, Uchathol Jiribam.

Apart from Lifetime president of JIMET Dr Chandam Kamal Singh, vice-president K Khumanjao; Gen Secy Ch Ranjit Kumar Singh; Joint Secy M Romeo Singh; Finance Secy T Sanjit Singh; Organisation Secy M Shanta Kumar Singh; JIMET members L Jiran Singh and Th Rakesh were also present in the awareness programme.

Earlier, the programme was conducted at Jiribam Hr Sec School; Dibong Govt Junior High School; Jirighat High School, Kamargha; Sorok Atingbi High School and New Life Academy, Uchathol Jiribam.

Before that on September 23, in connection with the observance month of Jana Neta Irabot, an awareness programme on the life story of Hijam Irabot and his positive contribution to the society was held at Jiribam Hr Sec School, Babupara during which Lifetime president of Jana Neta Irabot Trust (JIMET), Jiribam Dr Chandam Kamal Singh spoke in detail about the crucial role of the late leader in shaping up the society of Manipur to the students present in the programme as resource person.

As part of the programme, Finance Secy of JIMET, T Sanjit Singh interacted with the students by asking questions about the Lamyanba Hijam Irabot.

Regarding the awareness programme, T Sanjit Singh said that JIMET organized the awareness programme to make aware the students about the various vital role and significant contribution made by the late leader for the advancement of the State.

Besides Lifetime president of JIMET Dr Chandam Kamal Singh, vice-president K Khumanjao, Joint Secy M Romeo Singh, Finance Secy T Sanjit Singh, Organization Secy M Shanta Kumar Singh, members of JIMET L Jiran Singh and Th Rakesh Singh have attended the programme on that day.

It may be mentioned that JIMET has been continously observing 'Irabot Month' in September every year and during this month long observation, various activities are organized in different schools of the district including awareness programme of Hijam Irabot, March pass competition, cultural show etc.
