Free Medical Camp

Continuing with its philanthropic activities in providing welfare measures to local population at the hinterland of Manipur, 39 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organized a free medical camp at Serou village, Kakching district on 23 Dec 2017.A total of 250 persons which included men, women and children from Serou and surrounding villages have benefited from the medical camp in which free medical checkup and free medicines were distributed.
The medical camp started with a lecture on "Life Style Diseases", conducted by Medical officers Captain Sanjeev Kumar and Asst Comdt Manish Kumar of 39 Assam Rifles Battalion.
Gram Pradhan of Serou Village expressed his gratitude to Assam Rifles for continued support which has been provided time and again to the villagers of Serious.
Highlight of the camp was free medicines distribution, checkup of malaria and routine checkup for all who came for the camp.
