Integrated communication and outreach programme organised at various places

Chd/Thb, November 22 2021: An Integrated Communication Outreach Programme (ICOP) on "India's remarkable achievements of 100 Crore COVID-19 vaccination" organised by Field Outreach Bureau, Chandel under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting at Purum Pantha/Phaidaam village community hall in Chandel district.

It was attended by Jevan Sankhil, chairman; Kanwar Makan VLW, Tengnoupal district; Sha Beshot Khullar ex-chairman and Maryboi Yuthung CHO, HWC, Purum Tampak as presidium members.

The programme was moderated by Setpuone Silsi, youth president while the welcome address was delivered by Mathew SK Bengam FOB, Chandel.

On the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the organisers for conducting the awareness programme on COVID-19.The programme was also participated by M/S SDF, Moreh Museum, Tengnoupal district and M/S NF, Singjamei Thongam Leikai, Imphal West under S & DD, ROB, Imphal West.

Later, a quiz competition was also conducted.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by FPA, FOB, Chandel.

THOUBAL
A similar ICOP on 100 crore COVID-19 vaccination was also organised at Waikhom Mani Girls College, Thoubal District by the Regional Outreach Bureau, Imphal.

N Jotinkumar Singh, Principal-in-charge, Head of Department, Department of Political Science, Waikhom Mani Girls College, Thoubal presided the event.

In his keynote speech, Dr Aribam Ibomcha Sharma, Head of Office, Regional Outreach Bureau(ROB), Imphal said that Thoubal District is lowest in COVID vaccination among the valley districts of Manipur and urged everyone to take both the doses free of cost at the Government COVID-19 vaccination centres(CVCs).

Speaking as a resource person, Dr Ksh Memcha Devi, District Family Welfare Officer, Thoubal District who is also in charge of COVID-19 vaccination in the district elaborated on the need of GOVID-19 vaccination.

A quiz contest was also held and prizes along with certificates were distributed.

Private Registered Troupe(PRT) of ROB, Imphal, M/s Bhagirath Nata Sankirtan Kanglup performed a cultural item in which the need of covid vaccination was conveyed.
