Senapati, October 22 2019: A mega health camp was organised by Lions Club of Imphal, Leimarol in collaboration with Tadubi Circle Youth Forum (TCYF) today at Chowainamei village under Senapati district.

23 doctors, 25 nurses and attendants from Iboyaima Hospital & Research Centre, Singjamei, City Hospital & Research Centre, Chingmeirong and Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol along with 20 members of Lions Club of Imphal, Leimarol attended the camp.

Speaking on the sideline of the camp, Sanatombi Devi, president, Lions Club, Leimarol said that the programme was organised to assist locals of 14-15 villages living in the interior part along the NH-2 .

Members of the Lions Club, Leimarol contributed money to hold the event, said officials.

N Kayisii, Minister, TA & Hills expressed gratitude to all the medical doctors for their concern they have towards the poor people of the region.

He opened the medical camp.

Awareness cum detection of breast cancer & cervical cancer, cataract detection and free operation, free consultation, free medicines, USG and ECG facilities were provided during the camp.

Around 546 patients from nearby 14 villages attended the mega medical camp.
