Abdul Kadir hits back at MLA Meghachandra

Contradicting all the claims made by MLA K Meghachandra about the violent incident of June 19 at Yairipok Shinga, social worker Abdul Kadir alleged that the violence incident because of divisive ploys hatched by the incumbent MLA.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Abdul Kadir asserted that the unwanted incident was a direct fallout of Meghachandra's activities which were guided by narrow political outlook.
It is was blunder on the part of the MLA to move into the area where he was already boycotted.
Those people who invited or brought Meghachandra to the area were even more insensitive, Kadir asserted.
He could have patched up the division between the two conflicting groups.
But MLA Meghachandra was only courting trouble when he went the area defying the people's boycott decision.
Regarding MLA Meghachandra taking his name in the media, Abdul Kadir said that the MLA did it out of frustration as his support base has been fast diminishing.
