Imphal, May 15 2015 :
NSCN (K) in a press statement issued by its MIP has questioned the "ideology" of NSCN (IM).
NSCN (K) said it was "high time for reality to dawn and the Nagas have been "spellbound by Muivah's 17 years of negotiation with Government of India" presumably at the highest Prime Minister's level in the third country without condition.
NSCN (K) said Muivah had categorically declared through media that his leadership "shall not compromise on Naga sovereignty or integration." However, the recent condemnation of NSCN/GPRN under SS Khaplang by Muivah for the former's attack on Indian Army so as to defend and assert Naga sovereignty appears to be highly contradictory to his claim, said NSCN (K).
The MIP statement said that Muivah should "clarify himself before the Nagas whether he is for Naga sovereignty or assimilated solution within the bound of Indian Constitution for which reason he is openly decrying NSCN/GPRN stand for Naga sovereignty and consequent attack on occupational Indian army" .
