District level 'Red Ribbon Club Quiz Competitions 2021' held

Imphal, October 14 2021: The district level 'Red Ribbon Club (RRC) Quiz Competitions 2021' was held on Thursday in 6 districts of Tamenglong, Churachandpur, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Imphal West &Ukhrul.

The competitions were organized by the District AIDS Prevention Control Unit (DAPCU) of the respective districts under Manipur State AIDS Control Society.

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) Quiz competitions 2021 were organized as a part of New India @75, Phase II Awareness Campaign on HIV, TB & Blood Donation.

62 students from 31 colleges participated in the competitions.

District level quiz competitions would also be held in Imphal East, Chandel and Senapati districts in the coming days.

Rebecca Kimbiakmawi and Esther Lalnghaktling, Lamka College; Lourembam Anupama Devi and Nongmaithem Rajkumar Singh, Royal Academy of Law, Oinam; Machunglu Inka and Dinkulungliu Gonmei, Tamenglong Government College; Tensubam Nandakumar and Phijam Bijenkumar, DM College of Arts; Ksh Yugal and Ksh Ronald of Kha Manipur College, Kakching; Solanwor Kashung and Mathukmi Mayirnao of Pettigrew College won the Churachandpur, Bishnupur, Tamenglong, Imphal West, Thoubal and Ukhrul district competitions respectively.

The district level winners will further compete in Imphal for the State level competition to be held on October 22 & 23, 2021 .

The State winner will represent Manipur in the Eastern India Regional Quiz Competition and the Regional winner will further compete at the National level competition to be organized by NACO on January 12, 2022 .
