Imphal, May 13 2016 : Supporters of JCILPS today staged various protests at different places between Konung Mamang and Irilbung bridge.

Vegetable vendors of Konung Mamang market, Kongba bazar and meira paibis of Wangkhei Angom Leikai and other parts of Wangkhei, Kongba Thongkhong area, Kongba Kshetri Leikai, Kongba Khunou, Bamon Kampu and Irilbung Thong areas staged sit-in-protests and formed human chains in their respective areas.

Students of schools within Konung Mamang and Irilbung bridge formed human chains on the road shouting 'we want ILP' slogan.

Similar protest was seen at Thoubal district.

Students of Evergreen Flower School, CEELTI and New Ideal High School led by JCILPS Student Wing formed human chain from Thoubal to Mayang Imphal stretch of the Imphal � Moreh highway.

The protesters raised slogans demanding the enactment of the three Bills and removal of non-Manipuris from the State electoral list.
