Imphal, February 12 2016 :
The All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has warned of launching mass agitation if a white paper on the points incorporated in the accord signed between the GoI and NSCN (IM) are not made public without any further delay.
This was stated by AMUCO president Dr Y Mani Khuman while addressing the 23rd foundation day of AMUCO today at its office located at Kwakeithel.
Dr Y Mani Khuman said that a historic mass rally was organised by AMUCO on Aug 4, 1997 for the protection of the State's territory and integrity after the Govt of India and NSCN-IM signed a ceasefire agreement.
The rally, participated by around 5 lakh people, was one of the biggest rallies in the annals of South East Asia.
The participants pledged to protect the territorial integrity of the State.

AMUCO is keeping strict vigils on the development of GoI-NSCN (IM) peace process.
A memorandum was submitted to the Indo-Naga peace interlocutor, RN Ravi twice during his visits to the State demanding to produce a white paper on the framework agreement signed between GoI and NSCN (IM), Dr Mani said.
AMUCO has also submitted a memorandum incorpo- rating six points to the GoI.
However, there is no response from the Govt of India regarding the points raised by AMUCO so far, Dr Mani Khuman added.
AMUCO will launch different forms of agitation if the Govt fails to give response to the people of the State at the earliest, the president said.
The organisation will, for now, focus on the framework agreement between the GoI and NSCN-IM.
It will also pay attention to different issues faced by the State like fake encounter killings, territorial boundary, integrity, peaceful coexistence of all communities and communal harmony, he added.
The foundation day celebration was attended amongst others by KT Rahaman, ex-president, AMUCO, Th Iboyaima, president of Irabot Foundation Manipur, L Memchoubi, president of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur and DP Sahid Ahmad, president of AMMDO as the presidium members.
