MLA inspects ongoing ground construction for Shirui Lily opening venue

Ukhrul, August 09 2019: MLA Khashim Vashum inspected the ongoing ground construction for Shirui Lily opening venue at Vangayar, Shirui village today.

The ground construction is at the foothill of Shirui mountain, about 15 kms away from Ukhrul town.

Notably, MLA Khashim got himself involved in the showed enthusiastic support in the preparation work so that everything is prepared in time to make Shirui Lily a grand success.

Speaking to our correspondent, MLA said that permanent stage, parking areas and toilet would be attached in the ground while a unity statue will be erected at the foothill of Shirui mountain.

He also expressed confidence that the work will be completed in time and further mentioned that all necessary preparations for the festival is in progress.

The MLA urged the Shirui villagers to extend maximum co-operation and mentioned that the constructed infrastructure would become the properties of the village.

The inspection team was accompanied by DC, SP, Councillors, CEO, TNAL chairman and the headmen of Shirui village.
