Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma training programme certificates distributed

A certificate distribution programme for Vishwakarma candidates under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma (PMV) training programme was held today at JSS Thoubal premises at Wangjing.
Certificates were distributed to 26 candidates in today's programme organised by JSS Thoubal under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India and under the directorship of Karanjeet Laishram, JSS Thoubal.
It is worth noting that the PM Vishwakarma programme is a collaborative initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of the Government of India aiming to empower individuals with valuable skills, fostering entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.

Speaking as the guest of honour, L Premananda Singh, general secretary of Wangjing Women and Girls Society (WWAGS) emphasized on the critical need for a self-sufficient skilled workforce in the current global scenario, where competition is all over the place, particularly with nations like China.
"In today's competitive environment, it is crucial for India to nurture a workforce that is not only skilled but also self-reliant.

The event celebrated the successful completion of training by 26 candidates who underwent the PMV program at JSS-Thoubal.
The recipients were awarded certificates recognizing their accomplishments and skills acquired during the training period.
Director JSS Thoubal Karanjeet Laishram expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises for their support and collaboration in implementing the PM Vishwakarma programme at JSS-Thoubal.
