Pre-Board Exam commences

The Common Question Pre-Board Examination 2025 began today with over 15,000 students appearing in the examination across 117 examination centres in the State.
The examination was organised by All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) for students who will be appearing in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM).
On the first day, two teams of AMRPSWA led by its president and assistant secretary inspected the examination centres.
Speaking to the media today, P Romen Singh, controller of the pre-board exam, said that AMRPSWA has been conducting the preboard examination since 2015 for the Class X students who are to face the Class X examination conducted by BOSEM to test their preparedness and work on their weaknesses.
He asserted that the preboard examination was conducted in strict adherence to HSLCE criteria, norms, patterns, etc.
Stating that the education sector always bears the brunt of any unrest in the State, he urged the relevant authority to ensure that academic institutions are spared from such disturbances.
Romen also appealed to all the organisations to not call any bandh, blockade or general strike to ensure smooth conduct of the pre-board examination.
The Common Question Pre-Board Examination 2025 will conclude on December 13, 2024 .
