Imphal, May 31 2011: As per resolutions of the United People's Party of Kangleipak (UPPK) Central Committee meeting held from May 14 to May 30, seven central committee members and three district committee members have been allotted different posts, informed a press release issued by the outfit's information and publicity secretary in charge Khuman Laishramcha.

According to the resolutions, Laangamba Luwangcha (Central Committee Member) has been appointed Chairman and Chaamba (CC Member) as party advisor.

Chinglemba Mangang (CC Member) has been appointed General Secretary cum Defence Secretary cum Chief of Army Staff.

Central Committee Members Lemba, Birjit Mangang, Chingkhei and L Uraba have been given the posts of Home Secretary, Finance secretary, Organisation Secretary and External Affairs Secretary respectively.

On the other District Committee Members Khuman Laishramcha, Konthou and Laakpa have been given the new posts of Information and Publicity Secretary in-charge, Deputy Defence Secretary cum Assistant Chief of Army Staff and General Staff Officer respectively.
