TSE proprietor continues to extend helping hand

Imphal, April 30 2020: In continuation of the service extended to help the people during the COVID_19 triggerred lockdown, The Sangai Express provided relief materials to 55 economically weak households today.

The relief materials were provided to 28 households of Keishamthong Hodam Leirak and 27 households of Keishamthong Irom Pukhri Mapal area at clubs in the respective areas.

Proprietor of The Sangai Express, Nishikant Singh Sapam handed over the relief materials to members of the households.

The relief materials included 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg potatoes, 1 kg onions, 2 kg cabbages, 250 grams of Ngari (fermented fish), 1 litre edible oil, 1/2 kg pepper, 1 packet of salt, 1/2 kg of ladies finger and one soap - per household.

In addition, drinking water was also provided at Hodam Leirak area.

It may be noted that Nishikant Singh Sapam has also provided relief materials to many households at Thouda Bhabok Leikai recently.

Moreover, The Sangai Express under its corporate social responsibility programme has been proactively supporting budding sports personalities.

It has organised Youth Conclaves to guide and groom State youth in various fields.

It has been providing monthly remuneration to tourist guides at Keibul Lamjao National Park to support them and sponsoring feeds for Sangai to promote the State animal and help preserve it.
