KNO/KRA observes 14th Raising Day

Imphal, December 29 2013:
The Kuki National Organisation/Kuki Revolutionary Army (KNO/KRA) observed their 14th Raising Day at the outfit's designated camp located at Gamnom in Senapati district.
Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai (KISG) president, Thangkam Lupheng opened the raising day function by hoisting the outfit's flag which was followed by a march-past parade of party cadres.
The gathering also observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls of their colleagues.
Speaking to the media persons on the occasion, KRA home secretary, Jeremi Khongsai, said that KRA signed the Suspension of Operation (SoO) pact on August 2008 for a political settlement under the banner of KNO.
Till today KRA is committed the fight and struggle for the Kuki people in line with the vision of its founder K.Hangshing who sacrifice his life for the Kuki people.
He also conveyed best New Year wishes to all revolutionary comrades as well as the general public of the state .
