More mourn slain cadres : Koireng-led UNLF salutes

Imphal, April 29 2025: The Koireng-led UNLF and its armed wing MPA have condoled and offered revolutionary salute to KYKL/MYL's 2nd Lt Oinam Telheiba alias Landaba (36) of Uchiwa Turel Wangma and KCP/MFL's L Cpl Ahanthem Bishan alias Kanglei (29) of Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai who were killed in a battle fought along Manipur-Myanmar border at around 10 pm on April 25, 2025 between a combined force of the Indian Army and their proxies and a combined team of the revolutionary organisations of Manipur.

With a firm belief that the armed struggle is a principal means of re-establishing the sovereignty of Manipur, and reposing full faith in the collective struggle of the revolutionary organisations, the two revolutionary fighters fought till their last breath, said a press release issued by the outfit's Secretary of Publicity M Shak-Hen.

Their contributions and sacrifice would be remembered forever, it said.

"The demise of the two revolutionary fighters is a huge loss for all of us who have been waging a people's liberation movement", the outfit said.

The outfit and its armed wing MPA have conveyed solidarity to the bereaved families, revolutionary organisations, friends and relatives.

It further prayed that the mortal remains of the two martyrs may merge with earth and rest in eternal peace.
