Imphal, December 28 2016:
The JAC Against Anti-Tribal Bills (JACAATB) has accused the Statae Government of allegedly creating communal tension in the State.
A press release issued today by the information and publicity department of JACAATB alleged that the Government aims to create discord, mistrust and division among the various tribal communities in Manipur.
Pointing towards the creation of seven new districts and the alleged theft of the mortal remains of one of the nine tribal martyrs from Lamka district hospital mortuary, it accused the O Ibobi led Government of implementing divide and rule policy.
Hastening of the ongoing political dialogues with the sole aim of ensuring separation of all the tribal territories from Manipur is the only way forward for the survival of the indigenous tribal people, it added.
