Saikul consultative meet echoes young and educated representatives in 2022

Kangpokpi, November 25 2021:
A consultative meet held at Saikul village community hall on Wednesday called for young and educated representatives in the upcoming Manipur Assembly Election 2022 .
The consultative meet organized by civil society organizations of Saikul was attended by village chiefs, CSO leaders, village authority members, youths and women from 46-Saikul Assembly Constituency.
Opinions, ideas and thoughts in connection with the upcoming election were shared and discussed by the congregate.
Speaking on the occasion, Thangkam Lupheng, former ADC Sadar Hills member stated that young and educated political leaders who are vocal and would dare to fight for the people are essential to bring development and progress in Saikul "We need a representative who is aware of the power and functions of an MLA in the Assembly, and the procedures of the house itself.
We need a representative who knows well about the various Acts and Rights enshrined in the Constitution which protects and preserves the tribal rights", he asserted.
Haochinlen Kilong, spokesperson of CSO Saikul stated that it is time for the younger politicians of the constituency to take the constituency ahead with their vision and energy while appealing to people of Saikul AC to support the youths for a better Saikul.
Kuki Inpi Saikul Gamkai president, Seimang Lupho appealed to the public to come forward and provide their assistance in making Saikul AC a model constituency.
