Imphal, September 25 2012:
The proscribed RPF has claimed responsibility for the bomb blast inside M-Sector campus as well as the blast near Khwairakpam Pump House, Bishnupur district this morning.
The bomb attacks were carried out by a team of the PLA's Special Warfare Group, said a press release issued by the outfit's Department of Publicity Chief Taohangsu Heiremcha.
The bomb attack at M-Sector was carried out to inform the mass that the Indian military has recently opened a 'killing house' in the heart of Imphal town, alleged the outfit.
Oinam Halloba alias Newson of Keibul Lamjao Chingmei Mayai Leikai was taken to M-Sector by his own mother six days before the Panchayat election and he was found dead in the morning of September 19 at Kangchup Mamang Leikai, on the road to Abulok river, it alleged.
The PLA is committed to wiping out M-Sector for openly challenging Manipuri mothers and hurting their sentiments.
The Special Warfare Group has already initiated due process to hunt down and target covert agents of the Government of India for their role in killing surrendered/retired revolutionary cadres.
It was also the PLA's Special Warfare Group which carried out a bomb attack when a team of Imphal East commandos passed by Kamu Maring-Yairipok road at about 9.50 am of September 24 .
The target of the bomb was not State forces but Assam Rifles troops who were patrolling on Kamu Maring-Yairipok road since some days back.
The bomb was set off as the commandos moved into the area in search of PLA cadres and their bombs.
Had the remote button been pushed a few seconds earlier, the rear Gypsy would have been completely pulverised.
Such interference by the State force in the PLA's war against the Indian military was not desirable.
The outfit also appealed to all State forces to avert similar circumstances in future.
State forces might be worried about the recent bomb attacks of the PLA but it must be clear that the ongoing offensive is against the Indian military.
As of now, there is no question of targeting State forces.
PLA has no intention to fight an internecine war and make Manipur a land of widows.
The notion of police commandos to bring a secure atmosphere by killing their own brothers and sisters at the instigation of India for the sake of monthly salaries of just Rs 10,000/20,000 is quite misplaced, it added.
