PREPAK invalidates letterheads

Imphal, October 23 2011: Contending that there were 30 letterheads of the party's finance department in the possession of Yumnam Bobo alias Masen (49) s/o late Tombi of Khagempalli Panthak when he was arrested by Imphal East commandos on October 21, and not 31 as claimed by police, the proscribed PREPAK has questioned the motive of police in inflating the seized number of letterheads.

A press release issued by the outfit's publicity officer Sanju Oinam further declared that 30 letterheads having reference no 4001/FS/PK/IE/2011 to 5015FS/PK/IE/2011 and another set carrying reference number 5001/FS/PK/TH/2011 to 5015/FS/PK/TH/2011 have been invalidated.
