Sanajaoba interacts with PM Modi

Newly elected Members of Rajya Sabha including Leishemba Sanajaoba called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday at New Delhi.
The gathering was held at the Prime Minister's official residence with all the participants adhering to the COVID-19 SoP.
Sources informed that Narendra Modi gave a detailed introduction of Leishemba Sanajaoba to the fellow newly elected Rajya Sabha Members.
Talking about the history of Manipur, the Prime Minister remarked that Manipur is a rare case in the North East by virtue of being a kingdom which lasted for several centuries.
Noting that Leishemba Sanajaoba had encountered many hardships, Narendra Modi gave a brief account of how the titular king became a Member of the Rajya Sabha.
BJP National president and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were also present at the gathering.
Sanajaoba also made a courtesy call to BJP National general secretary BL Santosh at around 11.45 am today.
While conveying his gratitude to BJP Central leaders for ensuring his victory in the Rajya Sabha election, Leishemba Sanajaoba told BL Santosh how Chief Minister N Biren and his team made all possible efforts to secure BJP's victory.
The newly elected Rajya Sabha MP also held a brief meeting with BJP National president JP Nadda at 6 in the evening today and talked about the present political situation of Manipur.
