Young talent felicitated during KAGSA meet

Imphal, January 23 2018: In our efforts to promote sports event in the area, 21 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) provided material and medical support for the 34th KAGSA meet 2018.The meet was conducted over a period of two weeks wherein max villages of the area participated.

21 Assam Rifles provided for immediate medical support for the event and organised a two day medical camp.

In addition, sports equipment like Football, Volleyball and nets were provided for conduct of the event.

On the day of prize distribution and closing ceremony, 21 Assam Rifles gave prizes to individual players for their outstanding performance in the event.

The promising players were motivated by this gesture.

The KAGSA meet organizing committee also appreciated the prizes given to young talent and were sanguine that this will promote sports and will motivate more players to participate.

They are hopeful that the 35th KAGSA meet will be more fiercely contested as more and more players will try to showcase their talent.
