Imphal, September 19 2018: 31 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 10 Sector Assam Rifles conducted an awareness program for the villagers of far flung areas in extreme eastern parts of Kamjong District in Manipur on 18th September.

Villagers including elders and youth both participated in this program wherein they were enriched on the current recruitment procedures, minimum qualifications and preparation required to achieve the aim of joining Indian Army.

Session conducted was highly appreciated by the locals as "it was a guidance towards a bright future for the youth of the region", according to Headmen of villages.

More number of similar programs were requested by the locals to be conducted for the youth and also for development of Kamjong District.
