Ayush medicines distributed

Imphal, August 17 2021: Volunteers of All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) and Youths Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS) Manipur continued its distribution drive at different places today.

A press release by YOFFS said that Ayush medicines provided by the Ayush Directorate namely Arsenic album 30 and Aconite 30 for around 220 (two hundred and twenty) persons were distributed at Leimakhong Mapal and Naoremthong Laishram Leirak today.

The distribution of Ayush medicines have been initiated with an aim to keep the people healthy amid the grim situation of COVID-19 pandemic in the State.

YOFFS also appealed all to strictly follow the Covid SOPs and protocol laid by the competent authorities to stay protected from the dreaded virus.

North Eastern United Clubs Organization (NEUCO) under the aegis of IEDUCO and AMUCO also handed over Ayush medicines provided by Ayush Directorate to OC of Yaingangpokpi PS, Ng Romen, OC of Lamlai PS, O Kiran and OC of Sawombung PS Tejkumar Singh to be distributed to the locals in their respective jurisdiction, said a statement by NEUCO.

Vice president of IEDUCO, Khwairakpam Orendro Meitei, organization secretary Nimai Moirangcha, executive member Keisham Paka Singh were present on the occasion, added the statement.

NEUCO further stated that the distribution drive will continue and appealed to the people to follow Covid appropriate behaviour to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic effectively.

The medicines distributed today was for around 800 persons, NEUCO added.
