Imphal, December 15 2017: Seeking early solution to the protracted Naga Political issue and requesting the holding of the General Elections to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly only after the Solution, Chief Minister, TR Zeliang has today written to the following leaders for consideration of the same. 1. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi
2. President of India, Ram Nath Kovind
3. Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh
4. National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval
5. Interlocuter for Naga Peace Talks & Chairman of JIC, RN Ravi.

Enclosing in his letter, the resolution on Naga Political issue that was unanimously passed today by the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister has appealed for early solution in view of the strategic placement of the Nagas in the polity of India.

Copy of the resolution on Naga Political Issue passed today by the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and appended by the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Dr.Imtiwapang Aier is attached herewith.
