Senapati, October 13 2019: Musical Fest organised by the Poumai Theological Association and hosted by the Senapati Karong Area Baptist Youth Forum was held at Khabung Karong Baptist Church.

Dr Wungnaongam, Principal Mt Pisgah College Senapati exhorted the gathering before the start of the solo and choral competitions.

Nine Poumai Baptist Churches in and around Senapati and Karong area came and took part in the competitive events including Kathikho Karong Baptist Church, Khabung Karong Baptist Church, Poumai Baptist Church, Vakho, Poumai Baptist Church, Poulea, TNK, Senapati Baptist Church, Poumai Baptist Church, Senapati, Rikhumai Taphou Baptist Church, Taphou Phyamai Baptist Church and Onaeme Baptist Church.

Later part of the programme continued with result declaration of prize winners in solo competition where Taphou Phyamai Baptist Church walked away with Rs 2000 in the first place, Poumai Baptist Church, Poulea with Rs 1,500 in the 2nd place and Poumai Baptist Church, Senapati with Rs 1,000 in the 3rd place.

Choral competitions between 9 churches on the song, "Send the Gospel light" went in favour of the Poumai Baptist Church, Senapati with cash prize of Rs 15,000 for 1st prize, Poumai Baptist Church, Vakho with Rs 12,000 in the 2nd place and Taphou Phyamai Baptist Church with Rs 10,000 in the 3rd place respectively.
