Imphal, March 13 2025: Six State legislators called on Gover-nor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan today and apprised him about various issues faced by the common people.

Speaking to the Governor, the six MLAs, namely, Awangbow Newmai, Kha-shim Vashum, Losii Dikho, Leishiyo Keishing, J Kumo Sha and Janghemlung Pan-mei assured to extend their co-operation in every step to ensure peace.

They also exuded confidence that the State will return to peace and normalcy under the leadership of the Governor.

Representatives of Chu-rachandpur Meitei United Committee led by its co-convenor Naba Ningthou- jam called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan today and submitted a memorandum requesting initiation of steps for the welfare of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Churachandpur district who are residing in various relief camps.

Highlighting their grievances, they said that the IDPs are facing hardships.

In response, the Governor assured the team that their concerns will be looked into.
