Imphal, November 12 2021: The intending candidates of Manipur Peoples Party (MPP) have appealed to self styled MPP members to stop threatening the intending candidates thereby refraining them from contesting in the upcoming State Legislative Assembly election.

The intending MPP candidates namely, M Somorjit from Uripok AC, Chingtam Luwang from Sagolband AC and A Bele from Andro AC while speaking to media persons today.

They stated that they were declared as intending MPP candidates on August 13 by L Krishnadas, president of MPP and who is in charge of the MPP Office.

They maintained that the recent statements made by some self styled MPP members regarding the unpredictable future of the intending candidates has put them in a confused and worrisome state.

The intending candidates appealed to all concerned not to put them in a bad light in front of the masses.

Further they appealed to bring an amicable solution if there are any disputes by approaching a Law Court rather than turning the Party into a conflict zone.

Also they affirmed their stand to contest in the upcoming election.
