Discipline of RSS noted on concluding day of Sangh Shiksha Varg

Imphal, May 08 2022: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Sangh Shiskha Varg-2022 held at the Rajarshi Bhagyachandra Skill Development Centre, Haraorou, Imphal East concluded today with noted folk singer Guru Reuben remarking that the RSS' military-like discipline is praiseworthy and wished long life to all such organisations.

According to a press release issued by RSS Manipur Prant Prachar Pramukh Rajkumar Dayananda Singh, the camp was divided into two categories viz; Samanya and Vishesh.

The Samanya category was for people from 15 to 40 years and it started from April 18 .

The Vishesh category was for people from 41 to 65 years and it started from April 23 .

The camp attended by 113 trainees was conducted by 22 trainers and 26 supervisors.

Imparting and promoting physical, intellectual and spiritual well-being among youth, students and people from different walks of life was the main objective of the camp.

The camp was also aimed at creating a healthy society by grooming healthy citizens who can shoulder varied responsibilities of the society.

Many distinguished leaders of RSS spoke on different topics during the camp.

MLAs Karam Shyam, Nishikant Singh Sapam, S Rajen Singh and Dr Usham Deben Singh and BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi too attended the closing ceremony till the end.

In the course of the camp, a special event called Matrubhojan was held on May 1 where RSS volunteers and family members interacted with each other and shared meals.

The closing ceremony held today was graced by Padmashree Reuben Mashangva and RSS Manipur Prant Boudhik Pramukh Mayengbam Shamungou as chief guest and main speaker respectively.

In his speech, Mayengbam Shamungou recounted some main events and chapters of RSS founder Dr KB Hedgewar.

He also gave an elaborate account of why Dr Hedgewar established RSS.

Guru Reuben Mashangva remarked that the RSS' military-like discipline is praiseworthy and wished long life to all such organisations.

Saying that man can never stay far from nature, Reuben Mashangva enchanted the audience by imitating the sounds of flowing water and soft gust of wind using his flute.

The closing ceremony was made even more meaningful as 350 invitees attended it.
