New office bearers of KTC take oath

Kangpokpi, December 06 2021: Newly elected office bearers of the Kangpokpi Town Committee for the tenure 2021-24 took oath on Monday at Multipurpose Hall of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi.

The 8th KTC Member Election 2021-2024 was conducted by District Council Administration, Sadar Hills ADC Kangpokpi on November 27 following the expiry and dissolution of the 7th KTC.

Chief Executive Officer, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi, James Doujapao Haokip, MCS administered the oath-taking ceremony of the elected members while Returning Officer of 8th KTC Member Election, Th Lhingkhonei, Additional CEO, Sadar Hills ADC Kangpokpi exhorted the elected members to work in unison for the welfare of the town in tandem with the district council.

Later, Rev K Hangshing, chairman, Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship invoked a blessing prayer for the newly elected members after the oath-taking ceremony.

The newly elected members included Paokhomang Kipgen (Jonlhing Ward No 1); Seipu Kipgen (Tintong Ward No 2); Chonkam Kipgen (Vengthah Ward No 3); Helkhomang Hangshing (Chengjapao Ward No 4); Lalkholen Kipgen (Lamdil Ward No 5); Manggougin Misao (Lendou Ward No 6); Tolminthang Misao (Sipinthei Ward No 7); Angam Leivon (Ngambom Ward No 8); Thangkhohao Hangshing (Zaphal Ward No 9); D Paominlal (Dr GG Crozier Ward No 10); Seilam Singsit ( Khupting Ward No 11); Seijang Sitlhou (Moltinchan Ward No 12); Satngam Kipgen (Kilkhong Ward No 13); Thangjangam Lhanghal (Kholmun Ward No 14); Seijahen Singsit (Phungtin Ward No 15); Seingam Singsit (Nanglhun Ward No 16), Lunthang Hangshing (Ahsijolneng Ward No 17) and Nehkhotinsei Kipgen (Enjakhup Ward No 18) .
