Imphal, October 06 2013: Association of Persons With Disabilities, Ukhrul (APDU) has alleged the Organising Committee of the 1st State Level Sports Meet 2013 of cheating on the disabled persons.

In a press release issued by its Vice-President RS Kanrei, the association said that no cash prize was given to the winners although it has been advertised on the media that 1st winner would be awarded with Rs 10,000, 2nd winner with Rs 7000, 3rd winner with Rs 5000 and consolation prize winners with Rs 1000 .

Alleging that the organisers also did not arrange proper lodging facilities for the participants, the association also appealed to the general public not to take part and support such sports meet in future.
