Imphal, November 05 2017:
Saying that their office and important documents kept inside it were vandalised in addition to looting Rs three lakh by some people at around midnight yesterday, MSF has asked KSA to come out with a clarification by 1 pm tomorrow and pay back stolen cash and articles .
A press release issued by MSF vice-president O Premsagar accused KSA of taking side with a particular group of students regarding a conflict among students over the recent college students' unions election rather than reprimanding the students .
It said that the amount of Rs three lakh allegedly looted from its office was donated by public .
On the contrary, MSF has been working relentlessly for the welfare of the entire student community and it would continue to work for the welfare of all students without any discrimination .
Nonetheless, MSF would respond in befitting manner in case KSA continues with their awkward and offensive activities .
It is a matter of shame that KSA, despite being a students' organisation, allegedly looted cash kept locked inside a safe .
A students' organisation is not about mobilising a gang and if any group is claiming to be an organisation, it should act in line with organisational ethics, it added.
